This is likely a mammoth task in itself, as it may require rewriting much of the existing infantry tactics. * The AI will need to be modified to make use of the new features. * Weight/bulk will have to be considered for the bipod, with regards to game balance/realism. BIS will want to make use of the great modular system they gave us in A3. * Bipod and tripod models, which will need to be added into the game as new weapon accessories. These will also need to work with every variation of movement/standing position. * New 3rd-person animations, so you can see when people have rested their weapon. If a bipod is attached, that will also need an animation. * There will need to be new animations for every weapon that can be rested. It just isn't as simple as everyone is making out there are so many factors that need to be considered and parts of the game that will need to be changed for it to be an official feature. I'm certain that the QA process would take longer than 5 minutes, let alone designing and coding the feature to start with. I'm not sure exactly where the 'proven fact' comes from that bipods can be implemented in 5 minutes, but I can tell you that it's a bold oversimplification at best. We don't even know how many people are working on any given part of the game, let alone how their time is split between the no doubt tens - or even hundreds - of different assignments each. The fact of the matter is that we have no idea what sort of schedule BIS is working on. Some mods are dependent to other mods, for example CBA_A3 (Community Based Addons) and those have often other features that the player do not want!

TMR-mod is able to do that because it comes in two versions, for SP and MP.ДЄll it actually does, it is putting the game back to normal values! So the player is forced to use mods, even for the campaign and singleplayer missions! The scope is shaking so hard like the player is injured! Weapon swaying is AGAIN so strong that the game is unplayable! That game is still under development, patched continuously but the ONE YEAR time of all the players! For me, that is a clear statement. If bipods are realized in the marksman-DLC, we have to waitДЇor another year for this simple feature. It is a working time of 5 minutes to implement this feature to ArmA3. It is illogical because bipods are a fundamental function in a infantry-centric game. They have made a roadmap for ArmA3 and now they rely on their own illogical plan. Since it'd be a feature instead of content, I'd imagine that it will be available to everyone and not just DLC owners as well.
